Grapevine Public Library proudly partners with KultureCity on its sensory awareness initiative to improve our ability to assist and accommodate guests with sensory needs. Our objective is to provide an inclusive and seamless experience for all guests with sensory needs. We strive to raise awareness of the needs and challenges faced by individuals with sensory processing disorders by supplying our library team with continuous training and by offering resources to our guests.

  The Grapevine Public Library and KultureCity have joined forces to make a visit to the library a great experience for all of our customers, including those with sensory-processing needs.
  
  
• Sensory Bags Available Here - Sensory Bags (with noise-cancelling headphones, fidgets, and other resources) are available at our check out desk. Check out our FAQs for more information about what guests can use while visiting the library.
  
  
• Weighted lap pads are also available.
  
  
• Quiet Zones, typically low-traffic areas of the Library, are designated in the library via special signage.
