The mission of the Grapevine Police Department is to provide a safe community for our citizens, businesses, and visitors. We are an ethnically diverse department that employs people from many different cultural and demographic backgrounds.  

We have 95 sworn (Officer) positions and 52 non-sworn (Professional) positions. The majority of our employees have an Associates degree or higher, and we offer tuition reimbursement, as well as a multitude of training opportunities for advancement.

Our team of professionals provide exemplary service and thorough investigations. We embrace the community policing model and encourage the community to be involved in reducing crime. Police Officers patrol assigned areas of Grapevine while performing crime prevention, preserving peace, and protecting property and lives.
